She Makes My Heart FlutterGang Seol’s direct, outgoing approach to life meets a very different philosophy when she begins working at the women-only bar owned by her aunt, Jung One.
Gang Seol’s direct, outgoing approach to life meets a very different philosophy when she begins working at the women-only bar owned by her aunt, Jung One. The two women share a queer identity but not the same experience of visibility, privacy or romance. Seol sees possibilities in making the space more open, while One prefers the protection of keeping a low profile. Around them, regular visitors and developing attachments make the bar a place where several love stories can unfold. The aunt and niece are not the romantic pairing: their contrasting perspectives connect the separate relationships around them. This short Korean web series explores attraction and community through everyday encounters, showing how a shared space can make room for people who express their feelings differently.
