Synopsis

Nomoto loves cooking but lives alone and has a small appetite, leaving her frustrated by the limits of making food only for herself. After a stressful day, she prepares far more than she can eat. Remembering the neighbour she has seen carrying home generous amounts of food, she finds a possible answer in Kasuga, a woman who enjoys eating. Shared meals become the beginning of a connection that gradually extends beyond complementary appetites. As their relationship develops, Nomoto comes to understand that her feelings for another woman are romantic. Adapted from Sakaomi Yuzaki’s manga, the series places the women’s ordinary time together at its centre. Food creates an opening for companionship, self-recognition and the possibility of a life shaped by their own wishes.
