Synopsis

Prem, a heart surgeon preparing to marry, finds the ceremony disrupted by Pat, an actress who has discovered that the groom is responsible for her friend’s pregnancy. The intervention creates immediate hostility, while an earlier encounter between the women remains unrecognized in the confusion. Pat’s attraction to Prem makes her determined to replace that first impression with a different connection. The romance develops through the tension between a relationship publicly interrupted and another privately beginning. Prem must reconsider both the future she had accepted and the woman whose arrival made it impossible to continue unchanged. For Pat, winning attention is not the same as earning trust, and the developing bond must confront pressures that cannot be settled by the force of attraction alone.
