Synopsis

Lieutenant Tul’s arrival in criminal investigation quickly brings a difficult case and an equally difficult working relationship. She has to collaborate with forensic doctor Cherran, whose methods and outlook do not comfortably match her own. Their investigations unfold under public scrutiny and within a system vulnerable to the influence of powerful people. Working through evidence becomes a test of professional integrity as well as a reason for the two women to encounter one another repeatedly. Suspicion and disagreement gradually give way to trust, allowing their personal connection to develop alongside the cases. The drama combines a central sapphic partnership with police and forensic investigation, placing questions of justice, institutional pressure and emotional vulnerability in the same continuing story.
