Synopsis

Jae-Young and Soo-Hyun meet through a dating app called Destiny and begin a relationship. Three years later, the promise of their first connection has given way to a period in which even small disagreements can become arguments. The technology that brought them together then offers a disturbing new service: a notification asks whether they would like to learn the expiry date of their relationship. Suddenly, the couple must consider whether knowing the future would help them understand their problems or only change how they behave towards one another. The film builds its speculative premise around an ordinary romantic uncertainty. Their hesitation makes the central question personal: is a relationship something to be experienced and worked on, or a result that can be checked in advance?
