Love is Love 1

Synopsis

Sara's life is shaped by her Catholic faith when an accidental encounter brings Clara into it. A developing friendship gives her feelings that do not fit easily within the religious framework through which she has understood herself. Attraction creates both excitement and a demand to reconsider beliefs she has not previously needed to question in the same personal way. The short film follows a first stage of recognition rather than assuming that desire immediately supplies certainty or courage. Clara's presence makes an abstract tension into a relationship with another person whose feelings also matter. Sara must consider whether the conflict between faith and love is as fixed as it appears, and what it would mean to make a choice without denying an important part of her identity.
