Love and Let Love

Synopsis

A widow who has raised her daughter alone begins considering romance again when she accepts a Valentine's Day invitation. The decision carries a private courage that her daughter does not necessarily recognize. At the same time, the daughter is preparing for a date with her girlfriend, also keeping an important part of her life outside the family's shared conversation. Meeting unexpectedly in the same café exposes both women's secrets at once. The short film follows the humor and discomfort of discovering that a familiar relative has an emotional life one has not fully imagined. Mother and daughter must reconsider their assumptions about each other, recognizing that the need for companionship and the fear of judgment do not belong to only one generation.
