Synopsis

Cléo and Romy meet in the boys' restroom, arriving in the same space for very different reasons. One is seeking somewhere to hide, while the other has come with an impulse to dance. The contrast between withdrawal and expression gives their encounter an energy neither planned. Around them, glitter, light, and performance create possibilities for being seen differently from how they may be understood elsewhere. The short film follows an attraction that begins in an unexpected refuge rather than a carefully arranged romantic setting. Its intimacy depends on the willingness to respond to another person's presence without already knowing her story. The meeting asks whether a place entered to escape attention can become somewhere a person feels recognized, and whether that recognition can open room for joy.
