Irresistible Falling

Synopsis

Frances and Rin are trying to survive through drug dealing when an encounter with a violent man changes the danger surrounding their lives. Rin kills him while protecting Frances, leaving the women with an urgent need to flee. Their relationship is placed under pressure by the consequences of an act that can be understood as care without becoming free of violence. The short film follows intimacy within circumstances that offer few safe choices, making movement and concealment practical necessities rather than romantic adventure. The women must depend on each other while responding to fear and uncertainty about what comes next. Its premise asks what protection means when keeping someone alive also creates a new threat, and whether connection can remain a refuge when survival demands increasingly desperate decisions.
