Synopsis

Jaya and Fatima love each other and imagine a family together, but their partnership remains outside the knowledge of the people who could determine its future. Jaya's father arranges a marriage that would separate them, turning a familiar pressure into an immediate decision. On the night before the wedding, the possibility of continuing their relationship becomes inseparable from the consequences of refusing the plan made for her. The short film follows the emotional weight of a choice that cannot be understood only as personal preference. Family authority and social expectation give silence a practical force, while love creates reasons to resist it. Jaya must consider what kind of future she is agreeing to, and what becomes impossible if she allows the ceremony to proceed unchanged.
