Dear You

Synopsis

Lee-hyeon writes web fiction but finds it difficult to express her own emotions outside the stories she creates. Her guarded manner keeps other people at a distance until A-rim enters her working space, presenting herself as a nearby fan. A-rim's persistence, humor, and open affection gradually challenge the defenses Lee-hyeon has relied on. The developing relationship makes the difference between observing emotion and participating in it increasingly important. The romance follows a woman whose professional familiarity with stories does not make her private life easy to narrate. As their encounters become more intimate, Lee-hyeon must decide whether the warmth she experiences is something she can trust, and whether allowing somebody to know her requires giving up the protection of appearing unaffected.
