Synopsis

Khun Nueng has grown up with the expectations of a strict grandmother determining the shape of her life. Although she appears composed and privileged, she has had little opportunity to live as herself or to feel valued for the person she is. Meeting Anueng unsettles that carefully managed existence. The younger woman’s cheerful manner contains a sadness of its own, and her openness awakens feelings Nueng has never experienced before. Their attraction does not remove the obstacles surrounding them: a sixteen-year age difference, family pressure and social disapproval all bear on their choices. The series follows a romance in which being loved becomes inseparable from learning to claim a voice. At its centre are two women confronting the restrictions others place on their attachment.
