Synopsis

Verónica, a psychology student, has a crush on an older professor in her department. Discussing the attraction with her friend Lola leads her to consider whether childhood feelings connected to an aunt might influence the pattern she now recognizes. Seeking help introduces further encounters that make the situation more complicated than a straightforward exercise in self-analysis. The short film follows the tension between having a vocabulary for desire and understanding one's own experience of it. Verónica's academic interest in emotional life does not spare her from uncertainty, embarrassment, or the possibility of misinterpreting another person's attention. The story asks how useful an explanation can be when feelings remain active, and whether trying to resolve an attraction may unexpectedly create new opportunities for it to develop.
