And If You Hear MeA woman grieving a lost love returns again and again to a landscape that carries traces of their relationship.
A woman grieving a lost love returns again and again to a landscape that carries traces of their relationship. Grass, flowers, hills, birdsong, and the changing sky become ways of encountering someone who is no longer physically present. Photographs and poetry offer forms of preservation, but cannot fully recreate the immediacy of shared life. The film follows remembrance through movement and attention rather than a conventional sequence of dramatic events. Revisiting a meaningful place can provide comfort while also sharpening the sense of absence, making the same journey both sustaining and painful. Its central question concerns how a person can remain connected without becoming unable to inhabit the present, and whether returning to the setting of happiness changes what it means to have lost it.
