Synopsis

Three lesbians in Paris face different versions of the uncertainty that comes with loving other people. Nour, a musician eager for connection, falls for a woman whose guarded manner does not match her own impatience. Laura hopes that having a child will secure her relationship with her two partners, without anticipating how the proposal may disturb an already delicate arrangement. Gabrielle, a therapist who feels neglected by her partner, begins to form an attachment to a patient that threatens professional boundaries. The stories examine desire through incompatible expectations rather than through a single model of coupledom. Caroline Fournier’s ensemble follows the women as the wish for reassurance creates new tensions, and as their fears become entangled with the relationships they are trying to protect.
