Absolute Love

Synopsis

Jieun maintains a tightly organized daytime life while seeking experiences through a dating application that remain separate from her public identity. Meeting the assertive Chaeyeon offers an intensity that initially feels like release from that control. The relationship becomes disturbing as Chaeyeon imposes rules and extends her influence into parts of Jieun's life that were supposed to remain private. Attraction is increasingly entangled with surveillance, fear, and the possibility of exposure. The thriller follows a connection whose early promise of freedom turns into a different form of confinement. Jieun must examine the distance between consenting to an encounter and accepting the demands that follow it, while the effort to protect her established life makes it harder to acknowledge how dangerous the arrangement has become.
