4 Elements: The Air

Synopsis

Princess Blue travels to Thailand and is placed under the protection of police officer Wayo Wathinwanit. An assassination attempt transforms the assignment into a flight from danger, leaving the women dependent on each other in circumstances far removed from an ordinary official visit. Their forced proximity creates an intimacy neither can easily separate from duty, while the princess's position makes the possibility of a relationship especially difficult. The romance follows protection as both a professional responsibility and an increasingly personal commitment. Wayo must respond to a threat that cannot be put aside simply because feelings have developed. The women must consider whether the bond created while hiding can survive the return of the public identities and political obligations that first made their closeness seem impossible.
